Roots of Rhythm: The History of Latin Music

A three-part documentary tracing the history of Latin music from its African and Spanish roots to its Caribbean and Cuban flowering and its continuing popularity in America. This is a highly recommended documentary. The three parts are available on Youtube:

Rest in Peace Johnny Pacheco

Such sad news. Johnny Pacheco was one of the architects of what we know as Salsa. May he rest in peace.  He will live forever through the music he created. If you're interested and would like to learn more about Johnny's life and music projects, I recommend this documentary "Yo Soy La Salsa": https://www.facebook.com/szeoke/videos/10157680384092797
